Jen Patronas, MBA, NREMT, CSSBB, ACHE is the Director of Health Services for the Anchorage School District (ASD) where she leads 104 nurses. Jen retired from the United States Air Force (USAF) in 2019 after serving 20 years as a medic. She worked in various departments to include the Emergency Room, OB/GYN, Wound Care, and Pediatrics. She was a Master Instructor of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician (NRMET), Anatomy & Physiology I, as well as an Instructor Trainer for Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS). While serving, Jen deployed to Papua New Guinea and Micronesia where she helped strengthen international relations by teaching modern medical practices to medical personnel. Jen earned her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with a minor in Healthcare Management in 2013 from Saint Leo University and her Six Sigma Black Belt certificate in 2019 from the University of Houston. Her passion includes process improvement and teaching adult learners.
