Michael Carson is the Vice President & Recovery Specialist at MyHouse of Mat-Su, a nonprofit center for homeless youth that provides job training, case management services, and access to healthcare, clothing, and food. He is Chair of the Mat-Su Opioid Task Force, partners of which include the Alaska Department of Health, Alaska Division of Behavioral Health, the DEA, and the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas program. Michael also serves as a Board Member at True North Recovery treatment center, on the Statewide Opioid Steering Committee, and as Chair of the newly-formed Youth Prevention and Drug Education Task Force.
