We have big news to share with you: Trending Topics in Nursing 2020 is going virtual!

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and after thoughtful consideration, we’ve decided to move Trending Topics in Nursing 2020 to a fully online, virtual experience that will take place wherever you are on October 8-10, 2020.

Though we won’t be able to host Trending Topics face-to-face as originally planned, AaNA is committed to educating and empowering Alaska’s nurses through our annual statewide conference. This is ultimately the safest approach for the health and well-being of our attendees, presenters, and staff, and we’re busy making sure that Trending Topics 2020 lives up to the can’t-miss conference experience you’ve come to expect from us.

As we move Trending Topics in Nursing online, we’re excited about the new possibilities that an online format brings. We look forward to offering you the same vibrant programming and opportunities to engage with nurses from across the state, all while you connect from the comfort and safety of your own home.

Another big change is that registration prices are dropping, big time. We’re also proud to continue to offer member discounts, earlybird savings, and more conference scholarships than ever before. We are in a global crisis and at a time when budgets are just as stressed as people, we hope that cost will not be a barrier to access for Trending Topics in Nursing 2020.

We can’t wait to have you join us for this fully online and reimagined event, to celebrate our collective resilience, power, and dedication to our profession during the Year of the Nurse.
