Project HOPE

Project HOPE, an initiative of the Alaska Department of Health, works with community organizations to provide overdose education and naloxone kits to Alaskans. Under a medical standing order, approved Project HOPE overdose response programs maintain supplies of opioid overdose rescue kits and distribute kits to those at risk of experiencing an opioid overdose, as well as to family members, friends, caregivers, and others in a position to administer the life-saving drug naloxone.
